JinkoSolar Provides 400 Plus Watt Cheetah Panels for Sri Lanka C&I Rooftop Market
← 返回列表页Shanghai, China, January 10, 2019 – JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (the “Company,” or “JinkoSolar”) (NYSE: JKS), one of the largest and most innovative solar module manufacturers in the world, today announced that the Company has supplied 2 MW of its 400 watts Cheetah solar panel to Macksons Power and Energy on its tile factory, Macktiles rooftop in Bandaragama, Sri Lanka, which is one of the largest single rooftop solar systems in this country. Cheetah is designed to deliver 15 percent more energy in the same amount of roof space over the first 25 years compared to conventional mono panels. Cheetah series built with 158” half cut Cheetah cells joins JinkoSolar’s robust residential and commercial solar panel portfolio giving higher range of power, efficiency and less shade impact to suit specific rooftop needs.
In addition to high efficiency and high power generation of Cheetah modules, other factors that, behind model selection, worth to be considered for this milestone project are the partial shading-resistance feature, thanks to its half-cut cell technology and the proven mechanical loading performance of Cheetah, capable to maintain high and stable power output within the temperature range of -40℃ and to +85℃, as well as in intense wind pressure, low temperature and snowy conditions.
Cheetah is the most powerful solar panels available at 400 and 415 watts at appealing price, therefore it has been shipped over 10 GW to date since being first introduced at SNEC 2018.
During the commissioning ceremony for the project, Mr. Sajjaad Saliheen, the CEO of Macksons Group had the following comments: “We have been using JinkoSolar for more than 3 years on smaller projects around the world. Our group has made a strategic decision to convert all our manufacturing facilities to renewable energy in the next 2 years, starting with the Macktiles project. We will continue to use JinkoSolar due to their superior technology and excellent service. Like we are planning to purchase another 20MW of Tiger modules for the future projects on our factories around the globe“
